Hurricane Helene did not kick me nearly as hard as she kicked so many others in western North Carolina. I lost a couple weeks of production time, my early-November demo was cancelled, and some wholesale orders were reduced or cancelled entirely, BUT! my home and studio are intact, and I’m grateful.

Some businesses need to repair or completely replace tools and work spaces. Other businesses are raising funds for their staff members who are out of work due to the storm. Asheville is a tourist economy, and this time of year is when some of us make most of our yearly income.
